The Center for Strategic Reforms of the Philippines (CSR PH) through the leadership of its Founding Trustee, Mr. Mon Abrea held its initial discussion regarding the scope of CSR PH’s Memorandum of Agreement with the BIR. The meeting was attended by BIR Commissioner Lilia Guillermo and the CSR PH Board of Trustees. Also present in this meeting were Deputy Commissioner Marissa Cabreros, Assistant Commissioner Janette Cruz, and Assistant Commissioner Larry Barcelo.
This partnership aims to strengthen the collaboration and cooperation between the organization in addressing issues that affect tax administration, and to support the programs and activities that promote the ease of doing business and the implementation of a genuine tax reform.
The CSR PH and BIR will also be relaunching its online program, the BIR In Action Live, to be hosted by Mon Abrea. This online program provides access to tax information directly from BIR officials and keeps the paying public informed of the agency’s programs, accomplishments, and new regulations.

Aside from its partnership with the BIR, CSR PH will also be holding a discussion with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to officially renew its partnership. This joint agreement between the two organizations aims to boost support for our MSMEs and digitalization programs.
