The Asian Consulting Group will be conducting the Economic and Tax Briefing on February 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The Economic and Tax Briefing will feature discussions on addressing economic issues, such as the high inflation, and tax updates. These discussions are intended to guide aspiring business owners on how to do business in spite of the various economic issues being faced by the country.

The Economic and Tax Briefing will be started by an opening message from Dr. Donald Lim, Chief Operating Officer of DITO CME and Chief Innovation Officer of Udenna Corporation, followed by special messages from Department of Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Jose Chan Gonzaga and Department of Trade and Industry’s Ms. Wea Bohol.
As for the speakers, Prof. Viory Janeo, Vice Dean of the School of Economics at the University of Asia and the Pacific, will be conducting the Economic Briefing portion of the event. Thereafter, ACG Founding Chairman and Chief Tax Advisor Mon Abrea will be holding a presentation on tax incentives and tax updates and how to do business in the Philippines.
After the presentations, there will be a forum on addressing the high inflation rate in the Philippines, attended by the two speakers, Prof. Janeo and Mr. Abrea, as well as by Dr. Winston Padojinog, President of the University of Asia and the Pacific, and Atty. Beverly S. Milo from the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Finally, the Economic and Tax Briefing will be closed by Mr. Eric Caeg, President of the International Council for Small Business Philippines.
